What is VESA?

VESA Mount Info

An essential part of the VESA mounting standards is the 4-hole pattern, which may be located at the center or at the lower part or edge of the back of the monitor or TV panel. Most of the manufacturers of modern style monitors, TV screens, and flat panels comply to the standard that VESA developed for mounting purposes by putting holes based on the standard pattern.

There is a standard chart used in measuring the holes behind the monitor. As guided by manufacturers, in order to get the right pattern of the holes, you should measure from the center of the 4 holes and get the measurement from the farthest corner of the holes.
Also, be aware of any curve at the back of your screen or monitor when you get the dimensions of the holes, because this curve design will give a significant effect on the mount when attached. These are some of the VESA mounting distance’s patterns:

75mm x 75mm
100mm x 100mm
200mm x 100mm
200mm x 200mm
300mm x 300mm
400mm x 400mm
600mm x 400mm
800mm x 400mm

All products from Obedience are VESA compatible.
